Those who had the right contacts were able to reach investors comparatively quickly. <br\/><br\/>Today, the investor market has changed significantly.<br\/>It is<br\/>&#8211; larger<br\/>&#8211; more international<br\/>&#8211; more specialized<br\/>&#8211; and increasingly data-driven.<br\/><br\/>At the same time, investors are pursuing increasingly clear strategies. Many only invest in certain sectors, company phases or regions. Others concentrate on defined ticket sizes or investment models.  <br\/><br\/>For companies, this means that while the number of potential investors has increased, it has also become much more complex to identify the right investors.<br\/><br\/>This is where a professional infrastructure becomes crucial.<br\/><br\/>A structured investor process today requires several elements:<br\/><br\/>&#8211; Databases with investor profiles<br\/>&#8211; Analysis of different investor strategies<br\/>&#8211; Structured approach processes<br\/>&#8211; Continuous documentation and management of the process.<br\/><br\/>Only this infrastructure makes it possible to systematically identify and target investors.<br\/><br\/>In our practice, we have seen time and again that the more clearly an investor process is structured, the more efficient discussions and decision-making processes are.<br\/><br\/>The search for investors has thus developed from a predominantly network-based activity into a structured process.<br\/><br\/>And it is precisely this structure that often determines whether an investor process is successful.<br\/><br\/>But even if the analysis, investor approach and infrastructure are right, this does not automatically mean that an investor process will be concluded.<\/p><\/div><\/span><\/div>\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"has-virtue-primary-light-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-cde76d172ec37ce60d92f63b03f705ba wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/confidex.de\/en\/understanding-the-investor-search-when-investor-processes-fail-part-5\/\">In the next article, we look at why investor processes are often not continued despite convincing business models.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Investor processes are rarely a question of contacts.
